A Sheridan woman is dead and a Colorado woman is injured after a two-vehicle wreck east of Kaycee in Johnson County.

Officials with the Wyoming Highway Patrol say 53-year-old Vicki Corroo of Sheridan was traveling eastbound on Wyoming Highway 192 with 37-year-old Maria Maes of Pueblo, Colo., on Friday afternoon when Corroo’s 1998 GMC Sonoma crossed the highway’s center line and hit a westbound pickup truck carrying 68-year-old Lester Green of Buffalo.

Corroo was pronounced dead at the scene. Maes was flown to Wyoming Medical Center in Casper for treatment.

Sgt. Steven Townsend says the accident remains under investigation.
