A Casper woman accused of having meth paraphernalia around children could spend five years in prison.

Shannon Boomer has pleaded no contest to charges of child endangerment meth and possession of a controlled substance.

According to investigators, in late March, police officers were sent to check on Boomer, who her ex-husband said was taking care of two children.

When they arrived at Boomer's apartment, officers found the children along with a glass pipe that contained burned meth residue.

Boomer is free on five-thousand dollars bond, and will be sentenced at a later date.
