A Casper man has entered a plea in court, in a case in which he's accused of holding a pistol at his girlfriend’s head and then firing a round into the ceiling of their apartment.

Thirty-four year old Rocky Brown, has pleaded not guilty to two felony charges of aggravated assault, and one misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

Prosecutors say in August, Brown's girlfriend of 20 years, came home one day and saw him with his other girlfriend, who is 14 years his junior.

The girlfriend locked Brown out of the apartment, but he was able to crawl through a window to get inside a bedroom.

He then retrieved his .22-caliber pistol from a dresser, dragged her by her hair into the hallway, pointed it at her and told her, “‘I just want you to love me’” while she was still on her hands and knees.

According to the affidavit, in early July, the couple were arguing when Brown broke a piece of a banister and hit her multiple times in front of their children.

Brown is free on $15,000 bond awaiting trial, and he could face up to 10 years in prison on each aggravated assault charge, and up to 6 months in jail on the domestic battery charge, if convicted.
