Officials at Casper-Natrona County International Airport warn that a winter storm bearing down on the Rockies and Western Plains could affect air travel Monday night and Tuesday.

Glenn Januska, the manager at the Casper-Natrona County International Airport, says travelers out of Casper may encounter delays and cancellations through Tuesday evening.

“What I would tell anybody right now, especially if they’re flying through Denver, is to make sure that they check with their airline, or their travel agent, or however they’ve booked their tickets to see whether or not there’s been any changes in their flights,” Januska said.

The National Weather Service has winter storm warnings posted through Tuesday night and Wednesday morning for portions of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota and Nebraska.
