A Gillette man will spend some time behind bars for attacking a co-worker in Casper.

Thirty-one-year-old Ponsiano Lucero-Acuna was sentenced to 60 days in jail after pleading guilty to one count of battery and one count of interference.

According to Casper police, on Saturday September 1st, Acuna and some co-workers were doing some drywall work, when Acuna said he wanted to return to Gillette to take care of some business.

He was then told he could not leave until the job was finished.

Witnesses told officers that Acuna then became irate, punched a co-worker twice in the face and threatened to kill him.
