A Patriot Day Ceremony will be held on Monday, September 11th, with former Casper Fire Chief and current Deputy State Fire Marshal Mark Young as the guest speaker. The ceremony is sponsored by the Natrona County United Veterans Council, which says it will pay tribute to all of the police officers, firemen, and first responders who  gave their lives in the line of duty over the past year.

Master of Ceremonies will be Chief Kenny King of the Casper Fire Department, and Casper Police Lt. Shane Chaney of the Casper Police, along with King, will honor the fallen. Casper Firefighters Pipes & Drums will also perform.

The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m., on Monday, September 11th, in the Tom Walsh chapel at the Wyoming State Veterans Cemetery. It's free and open to the public, and all are invited.
