The Wyoming Department of Transportation will close a portion of Robertson Road, on Casper's west side, beginning Monday, July 6, as crews work to complete the reconstruction project, according to a news release.

The closure will be between Squash Blossom Road and Rivers Gate, according to the news release from WYDOT spokesman Jeff Goetz.
Those who live at Squash Blossom south should take CY Avenue and enter from the south. Those who live at Rivers Gate north, should use Robertson Road from the north.
WYDOT installed signs warning drivers of the upcoming closure in the area on Monday
The closure will allow the final section of roadway to be reconstructed including dirt work, new curbs and gutters, and new pavement.
After this section of the road is completed, crews will lay down a layer of chip-seal to protect the entire new roadway.
This section should be completed by mid-August.
