Magnolia Productions, a company founded by four Casper women, presents an original play: What Were We Talking About?. The play - written, performed and produced by Gale Alexander, Vickie Cawthra, Linda Stoval and Gretchen Wheeler - is based on their 20 year relationship since appearing in Steel Magnolias together in Casper.  It celebrates the power of storytelling and friendship: The hardships we face. The joys we share. The stories we tell.

It's an amazing phenomenon what can happen in conversations

The production is a benefit for the non-profit group Debra of America for aid to children with Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare life-threatening genetic skin disorder. Ms. Alexander's granddaughter was born with EB and the four women decided to raise money for  Debra of America.

There is no cure for this, actually the poor little body cannot keep the skin on and is deadly.

Many, many members of the Casper community have given their time and talent to this all-volunteer production. Funding for production expenses was provided by Hollister Wound Care, Inc and Debra of America has helped in many ways.
