NCSD to Reveal Kelly Walsh Design Plans in Feb.

The Natrona County School District plans to hold a special presentation in February where preliminary design plans will be revealed for Kelly Walsh High School.

According to a district press release, the plan includes the construction of a new school building to be built along 12th Street.

In the release, the district says the plan aims to provide "collaborative learning communities, inventive learning settings, meaningful community partnerships, a culture of empowerment and a cohesive campus.”

The presentation will be open to the public. It is scheduled for Feb. 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kelly Walsh High School cafeteria.

In early January, district officials revealed an over $100 million renovation and restoration plan for Natrona County High School. Construction will begin on a $14 million multi-use annex at NCHS this summer.
