Natrona County Citizens taking part in the task force looking into the idea of a new county library made their first decision Monday night.

They're in agreement. They want a new larger facility built, but from here the discussion becomes more complex.

At their third meeting it became clear that task force members have homework to do in understanding finance.

"So we're gonna come back and kind of have finance 101 at the next meeting. To talk about the various ways and probably getting it down to something that everybody will understand."

Committee chair, John Lawson says the $25.2 million projected cost would likely be raised via a penny tax or property tax and is something the public would vote on in the fall.

Next task force meeting is April 11th.
