The Natrona Mustangs completed their improbable run through the State Soccer tournament in Jackson with a 3-1 win over Cheyenne Central to capture their first 4A title since 1996. The Mustangs entered the tournament with a record of 8-9-1 but pulled off a monumental upset in the quarterfinal round over Thunder Basin and beat Laramie in the semi-final round. In Saturday's championship match, Cheyenne Central scored first in the 10th minute but NC answered with 2 goals from Jordan Milby in the 25th and 34th minutes. Milby scored again in the 2nd half in the 66th minute to lift the Cinderella Mustangs to the state title.
