Two young women are dead and a Gillette man faces criminal charges in connection with a rollover van crash in Johnson County.

Sgt. Stephen Townsend, of the Wyoming Highway Patrol, says investigators believe 50-year-old, Fernando Lumabao, was intoxicated Saturday when he jerked the wheel of a van traveling eastbound on Interstate 90, north of Buffalo.

Lumabao was a passenger in the van, which had seven people on board.

Townsend says 21-year-old, Peijuna Chen, of China, and 19-year-old, Yushin Lee, of Taiwan, died from the crash and three other passengers were injured. Townsend says the women were working in the area as hotel maids.

Johnson County Attorney, Ken Decock, says Lumabao faces two counts of involuntary manslaughter and four counts of reckless endangerment. A preliminary court hearing is set for Wednesday.
