DOUGLAS, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Business Council says Cheyenne is one of two finalists for a proposed $112 million data center that would create 40 new jobs. Molly Spangler with the Business Council says the company will make a decision in the coming weeks. Business Council officials aren't naming the company and say doing so could hurt the city's chances.

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Higher fuel prices haven't slowed the economy much in rural areas of 10 Midwest and Plains states, including Wyoming. A monthly survey of rural bankers showed no change in March. The overall economic index registered 59.6 again this month, and any score above 50 suggests the economy will grow.

RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — An arrest affidavit is revealing more details in a double slaying in Hudson last fall. According to the document, two men accused of killing Eric Likes and Elva Quiver and later setting their trailer ablaze had been invited to spend the night at their home. Investigators say Joseph Jude Jenkins and Laziur Hanway attacked the couple as they slept then stole valuables.

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming begins spring football drills next Wednesday with the first of 15 practices. The Cowboys have scheduled three scrimmages next month that will be open to the public. Next fall the Cowboys will return six individuals who earned All-Conference honors last season, including Mountain West freshman of the year Brett Smith at quarterback.
