The Kelly Walsh boys basketball team made several critical free throws in the last minute to hold off Cheyenne Central 55-50 in the quarterfinal round of the State 4A Tournament at Casper College on Thursday afternoon. The Trojans made 7 of 8 from the free throw stripe in the last 60 seconds to overcome a poor shooting performance from the field in the 2nd half in which they hit just 25% of their shots. Davion McAdam had a solid game for KW with 21 points and Ross Padilla chipped in 11. Cheyenne Central got a monster game from 6-11 Lawson Lovering who threw in a game high 32. Kelly Walsh is 21-3 on the year and will take on Cheyenne East in the 4A semi-finals on Friday night at 7:30 at the Casper Events Center
