Jury selection has started in Lander in the retrial of a Montana man accused of killing a Jackson woman in 1984.

Troy Willoughby is standing trial for the second time in the shooting death of Lisa Ehlers.

Willoughby was convicted of murder in connection with Ehlers' death in January 2010.

The State Supreme Court upheld Willoughby's conviction last June. But days later, Sublette County Attorney Neal Stelting said an investigation showed his predecessor knew of a possibly exculpatory police report but did not disclose it to Willoughby's attorneys.

The Riverton Ranger reports  that the trial in Lander could last up to three weeks.
