A Casper man is facing four charges after getting involved in two hit-and-run collisions.

Thirty-eight year old Jared Rude has been charged with two counts of leaving the scene, one count of DUI and one count of child endangerment, after police say he was in several places that he should not have been in, and not in one place where he should have been.

According to officers, Rude was driving his truck near the intersection of east 15th and Wyoming Boulevard on Wednesday afternoon February 8th, when he rear-ended one vehicle.

Police later determined Rude had also struck a pole-fence on Squaw Creek Road.

A breath test showed he had a blood alcohol content of .23, nearly three times the legal limit for driving.

Rude also told police that he was supposed to be at home taking care of his son, who had been home alone ever since he got back from school.

Rude is being held in jail on $3,000 bond awaiting his preliminary hearing.
