A Casper man has been sentenced for his role in a bar fight.

Jared Baker was sentenced to two-to-four years in prison, after he entered an Alford plea to one charge of aggravated assault and battery.

Witnesses and victims told Casper police that in mid-October 2012, several fights broke out at the Sandbar Lounge and Baker was involved in one of them.

Earlier in the evening, Baker had been cut off by the bartender and later got into a shoving match with someone which spilled outside the bar.

After that, prosecutors say Baker returned in his vehicle, got out and hit Robert Wargo in the face with a tire iron.

Wargo underwent surgery on his jaw and had a metal plate inserted.

Investigators later found surveillance video that was able to back up the testimony of the witnesses and the victim.

Baker claims to have no memory of the night in question and had a blood alcohol content of .205 at the time of the incident.
