Jamez Hendrickson Changes Pleas On Sex Crime Charges
An Evansville man has changed his pleas on sex crimes, in which he's accused of using a foreign object on his victims.
Twenty-one year old Jamez Hendrickson has pleaded guilty to one charge of first degree sexual abuse of a minor, and an alford plea to a second charge of the same nature.
Prosecutors say in late April, and back in 2012, two victims told police investigators that Hendrickson had used the handle of a bread knife to penetrate them.
When interviewed, Hendrickson admitted to assaulting other victims and used a knife on at least one of them.
As part of a plea deal, prosecutors dismissed three other charges and will seek no more than a 25-to-40 year prison sentence.
Hendrickson is being held on $125,000 bond awaiting trial, and will be sentenced at a later date.
