Jackson Bus Mechanic Charged with Theft

JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — A bus mechanic for a Wyoming school district is charged with buying parts with a district credit card and then selling them and pocketing the money.

44-year-old Anthony Robinson of Victor, Idaho, is charged with felony theft. He was released on a $20,000 bond.

An initial investigation found that Robinson charged just over $19,000 in parts to the Teton County School District that he later sold. That investigation continues.

Authorities were alerted to the alleged scheme after a Tennessee company became suspicious that parts it purchased on eBay were packaged nearly identically to the way the company packages the parts it sells.

Robinson has not entered a plea. His next court appearance is scheduled for Thursday. A phone number for his home-based business, Big Bull Archery, has been disconnected.
