According to a press release issued by the CAEDA board of directors an Interim president and CEO has been named. It has not been made clear if this means Robert Barnes who was most recently President and CEO is still with the organization.

CASPER – Steve Elledge has been named interim president and chief executive officer of the Casper Area Economic Development Alliance (CAEDA) by the organization’s board of directors, effective immediately.

Elledge is no stranger to Central Wyoming economic development having spent 11 years as the east central regional director and head of field services for the Wyoming Business Council. He retired from the State of Wyoming on Oct.. 1, 2010. Previous to his time at the Wyoming Business Council, Elledge worked in a variety of small local businesses, including the energy industry, Casper College and CAEDA.

“The CAEDA Board is looking forward to this opportunity to re-focus the organization’s efforts on the best economic development interests of the Casper area under Steve’s leadership,” said Bob West, Chairman of CAEDA Board.

“I’m excited about the challenge and believe strongly in the mission of CAEDA,” Elledge said.

CAEDA’s staff and board will have no further comment on the personnel change.
