Industrial Accident Claims Life of Gillette Man

Converse County Sheriff’s officials have released information on an industrial accident that claimed the life of a Gillette man.

Just before 10:00 AM, on Saturday, the Converse County Sheriff’s Office says they were notified of an Industrial Incident on a rig site.

Deputies and Investigators responded to the Mary’s Draw area of Converse County. Officials say that that Nathan Scott, 26 of Gillette was struck by a welding truck on the rig site.

CPR and lifesaving strategies were immediately employed by company employees and 911 was called for assistance.  Life Flight and an ambulance from Wright were dispatched to the scene but upon arrival they found that Mr. Scott was deceased.

The Investigation is ongoing by Investigators from the Converse County Sheriff’s Office.
