Dates and venues for townhall meetings to discuss a health benefit exchange for Wyoming are scheduled for Natrona County, Cheyenne, and Gillette. Evansville Town hall will be the venue for the Casper area meeting on Janurary 24th.

"The Federal Healthcare Reform Act requires states to either establish their own or to allow the federal government to come in and run an exchange."

Elizabeth Hoy, health care policy advisor to the governor's office says the meetings are a chance to give input and have questions answered.

A health benefit exchange steering committee has been meeting for the last year and has recommended to the governor that Wyoming find its own way in establishing an exchange.

The town hall in Gillette happens January 23, 6 to 8:00 p.m. at Gillette College in Presidential Hall.

The meeting in Evansville is Tuesday January 24th also from 6 to 8 pm.

Cheyenne's meeting is Wednesday the 25th at Laramie county community College.
