Grand Teton Faces Busy Construction Year In 2012

JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — Grand Teton National Park is planning to complete several construction projects next year.

The projects include a pathway, a new administration building and employee housing.

Plans are also under way to build more pathways and a new water/wastewater treatment plant at Moose.

A new wastewater treatment facility will allow decommissioning the current facility.

Facility management chief Chris Finlay tells the Jackson Hole News & Guide (http://bit.ly/sCvLsk) that the current water treatment plant is located too close to the Snake River.

Also this winter, construction crews are working to renovate the David T. Vernon Indian Arts Museum at the Colter Bay Visitor Center.
