A foursome of Natrona County High School Athletes have signed college letters of intent to further their careers. Carson Johnson will be going to Casper College to rodeo where his father Jhett is the head coach. Johnson was the first place finisher in the team roping at the high school level and took 35th at last year's national finals. Carson and his brother Kellen won $50,000 each at the Days of '47 rodeo in Salt Lake City over the summer. Alex Braunsworth will rodeo at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington to barrel race. She's a Linch, Wyoming native and previously attended Midwest High School. Braunsworth has competed in rodeo since a very young age and its a dream come true to rodeo at the college level.

Brendon Gustafson will go to Chadron State for track and field, specifically in the weight throwing events. Gustafson took first place in both the shot and discus at last weeks Kelly Walsh Invite. Last year, he took 6th at the 4A state meet in the discus and 8th in the shot put. Gustafson also will give the hammer throw a try. Sierra Forsyth will also be attending Chadron State to throw in the weight events in track & field. Last season, Forsyth took 17th in the shot put and 25th in the discus at the 4A state meet. She will also be giving the hammer throw a try at the college level.
