Foundation Makes $1M Donation To UW Nursing School

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — The McMurry Foundation is making a $1 million donation to the University of Wyoming nursing school for scholarships.

The foundation says a formal announcement is planned Thursday at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

The foundation says the scholarships will increase opportunities for nurses to earn a bachelor's degree or higher.

UW School of Nursing Dean Mary Burman and former U.S. Congresswoman Barbara Cubin will attend the news conference, along with Wyoming Medical Center CEO Vickie Diamond.
