CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Community Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to the Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust.

The challenge grant will support the land trust's efforts in securing funding for core operations by helping attract additional donations.

The money raised will help cover costs associated with accomplishing conservation easement project work, including staff time, legal expense and travel throughout the state.

The Stock Growers Land Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving Wyoming's working family ranches and farms and the wide-open spaces, natural habitats, and rural communities they support.

The Wyoming Community Foundation is a statewide nonprofit organization that seeks to connect people with causes that build a better Wyoming.
