Fire Crews Investigating Blaze At Richardson Trucking

Fire crews are trying to determine what caused a blaze at a Natrona County Trucking Company.

At around 9pm on Sunday, November 17th, Natrona County Fire District crews were called out to the Richardson Trucking building on West Yellowstone Highway, near the Casper-Natrona County International Airport.

Fire District Chief Kevin Finn says the fire was located in the office area and in three of the service bays.

He says it took about three hours to extinguish the blaze, not because of where the building was located, but because of the lack of resources in the area.

"The crews were really hampered by the fact that there are no fire hydrants in that area, so all water had to be trucked into the location, so that really slowed the firefighting process."

Chief Finn says the building is not a complete loss, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
