Field is Narrowed for UW President
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — About 10 to 15 candidates for University of Wyoming president have been forwarded to the second search committee.
UW Trustee John MacPherson is a member of the second committee member.
MacPherson says the second committee has already begun reviewing the applications.
The second committee is tasked with finding three to five finalists by mid-December.
The search will remain closed to the public until the finalists are named.
The first search committee began reviewing the candidates Oct. 16.
Current UW President Dick McGinity is stepping down from the job.
