Shakespeare's most famous history play will be presented in the Empey Studio Theatre. Chronicling the revolution that transformed Rome from a republic to an empire, "Julius Caesar" comments eloquently on the nature of ambition, power, loyalty, patriotism, and propaganda. The play will be starkly staged on a scaffold-like construction to emphasize the actors' performances, as in the time of Shakespeare.
