Dead Body at Kaycee School Identified, School Closed
Update 1:00 p.m. Wednesday – Kaycee Police confirmed the body found Wednesday morning at Kaycee School is that of 46-year-old Ramah Jackson. Jackson was a former custodian at the school and Kaycee resident.
The discovery of a dead body has closed a school in Johnson County.
Police and officials with the Johnson County Coroner’s Office are investigating at Kaycee School after administrators found the dead body of an adult on the school’s property Wednesday.
School officials found the body Wednesday morning. Officials with the Kaycee Police Department say no foul play is suspected.
Classes at Kaycee School are expected to resume Thursday.
