GILLETTE, WYO. --- A cat that disappeared two weeks ago has been found alive inside a wall at a neighbor's home in Gillette.

The Gillette News-Record reports that firefighters rescued the 7-year-old cat named Twitcher on Sunday by drilling a hole into the wall.

Twitcher had lost about five pounds.

Twitcher's owner, Shannon Dinkel, says the cat didn't come home after it was let out about two weeks ago. Dinkel and her daughter searched the neighborhood and put up signs but couldn't find him.

The neighbor heard meows but thought the sounds were coming from outside. A granddaughter visiting the neighbor figured out that Twitcher was in the wall.

Dinkel says the cat was probably in the neighbor's attic when Twitcher fell into the wall.
