Come Help Plan A New Downtown

Quick movement from the City of Casper on a strategic planning process for downtown.

Two sessions are planned for the general public to meet with the urban design firm Crandell- Arambula.

"Next Tuesday and Wednesday and this is a first step in about three different visits that they will put here into Casper over the next four months."

Urban Renewal Coordinator, Liz Becker says its a call for ideas from Casper citizens for things like downtown public spaces, transportation improvements, residential and retail space.

Crandall-Arambula will get just under $100,000 for development of the plan to be ready by early June.

Meetings happen Tuesday, February 21st, from 1 to 2 p.m., at the Mineral Resource Building, at 2^nd/David – 139 W. 2^nd, Suite 1B.

And Wednesday the 22nd, 6 to 8 pm, at the Casper Events Center.
