CNFR Contestant Loses Finger

Tie Down roper Bo Simpson from New Mexico State University found himself at the end of his event last night without a part of his finger!

Immediately following Bo’s run last night a crowd of people were seen scouring the floor of the Casper Events Center and it was then that the crowd realized that something had gone wrong. Team ropers will often find themselves in a situation with an extra wrap or a finger caught by a dally but seldom does a tie down roper experience the problem.

Last night a freak accident left Bo without the first joint of his ring finger. Although the missing piece was found, it was unable to be reattached and Bo will live without it. He has recovered well and is back in the saddle.
