Best use and most profitable design for Casper's Municipal Golf Course has been a recent topic on the minds of city officials.

Now a survey calls for public input on an idea that might help bring it back toward profitability.

"The city of Casper is looking at redesigning one of the nine holes to turn into a par three course."

Tiffany Canepa, is with the city's leisure services department.

She says they want to know how folks feel about a redesign and they're also interested in gauging general public satisfaction and to learn how people use the course.

The Municipal Golf Course runs in the red and is heavily subsidized by the city, but still sees the most games played in town, in part, because it provides affordable access to the sport.

The survey remains open until May 31st and is available at the city's website.  If you participate you'll be entered into a drawing for a free round of golf with a cart.
