A Casper man has been sentenced in a case where he was accused of biting and kicking a police officer.

Twenty-four year old Christopher Bobo was sentenced to serve two-and-one-half to five years in prison after pleading no contest in a case where an officer says she was attacked while trying to arrest him.

Prosecutors say an officer was responding to a prowler call last November and when they located Bobo, he fled but was later tackled.

Prosecutors say Bobo managed to escape the arresting officer once, by biting her, kicking her and throwing away her taser, but was captured again a short time later.
