The Cheyenne rodeo was just named PRCA Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year for the thirteenth time. Known for its fast pace and large number of contestants, the Cheyenne rodeo ensures that visitors see more rodeo action than they can see at any other rodeo. Every event is performed in each of the nine daily performances, so any day at Cheyenne Frontier Days is a good day to see an exciting, action-packed rodeo.  Rodeo tickets purchased before July 1 are eligible for a $3 discount.

The Zac Brown Band will return for an encore performance on the stage at Cheyenne this summer.  After some eventful years on the charts and on the road, GRAMMY-Award winning Zac Brown Band has proven that "overnight success" can be years in the making.  New fans drawn by the irresistible hit singles, the awe-inspiring musicianship and dynamic live shows might have thought the Zac Brown Band emerged from nowhere.  In fact, the band has paid its dues for years and put in its time that has led to its current success.

Brad Paisley’s ninth studio album is titled This Is Country Music because this is the singer/songwriter/guitar virtuoso’s heartfelt homage to the music he’s loved since childhood.  It’s a multi-faceted tribute to all the elements that embody country music from the young artist who single-handedly made Grand Ole Opry legend Little Jimmy Dickens cool to a new generation of country fans and who collaborated with the late Buck Owens, providing him with his only CMA Award win.  Paisley’s well-documented march toward stardom has been an inclusive journey that has taken many of his heroes with him along the way.

Blake Shelton is the breakout star of NBC’s The Voice.  His versatility is evident in the wide range of singles he has made his own. He has proven his ability with the stark drama of "The Baby" and "Home," the honest regret of "She Wouldn't Be Gone," the warm intimacy of "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking," the celebration of the moment in "All About Tonight, and the over-the-top fun of "Hillbilly Bone." His skill as an entertainer is apparent every time he takes the stage and carries fans on one of music's most enjoyable journeys.

The Road to Cheyenne” leads to the CBR World Championship in 2012.  The CBR World Champion will be crowned when The CINCH CBR Tour wraps up at Cheyenne Frontier Days this summer.  The 2012 CINCH CBR Tour World Champion will receive a $100,000 cash bonus and the 2012 CINCH Tour Rider Bonus Program will distribute a total over $200,000 in cash to the top 5 Bull Riders on Tour at this exciting event on July 23 and July 24.

This year’s CINCH CBR Tour event at CFD will include performances by some of the best bulls in the country. This event will also serve as the Finale for the 2012 CBR Million Dollar Bull Team Challenge. Bull Teams compete by earning points accumulated by the bull’s scores and a combination of the number of seconds ridden by their respective cowboy.

Collectively, the CBR World Championship, the CBR Million Dollar Bull Team Challenge and the crowning of a CBR World Champion will distribute over $500,000 through CBR events at Cheyenne Frontier Days.
