A Casper woman was arrested Saturday afternoon for allegedly having a methamphetamine pipe in a home where a child lived.

Joyce Flora Jordan, 39, was booked into jail on a single count of child endangerment with methamphetamine.

Charging documents say three Casper police detectives assisted Probation and Parole agents with a search of Jordan's home at about 1 p.m. Saturday. The search was conducted after Jordan, who was on probation, tested positive for methamphetamine at the probation office.

When Jordan learned her home would be searched, she allegedly admitted that she had both a meth and a marijuana pipe in the top drawer of a dresser in her bedroom.

Both pipes were found exactly where Jordan said they were -- beneath a few items of clothing belonging to a 15-year-old who lived in the house.

A mini-fridge in Jordan's room allegedly contained an empty vial of synthetic urine, which Jordan reportedly admitted using to try and pass her urine test.

According to the affidavit, detectives learned that Jordan was dating a registered sex offender, who was not registered at the address on Manor Drive or in Cheyenne, where he lives.

Jordan's criminal history includes a shoplifting charge from December, as well as a charge of delivery and conspiracy to deliver meth from 2014, according to court documents.

Jordan was arrested and taken to jail. The 15-year-old was taken into protective custody.
