Casper Team Prepares for Adventure Racing World Championship

Over 30 teams from around the world will compete in this years Adventure Racing World Championship that will be go from Jackson to Casper from August 10th through the 16th. Casper will be represented by Team McGinley Orthopedics. This all local team features Joe McGinley, Ryan Larsen, Adam Johnson and Christie Olsen.

This adventure race is a pure test of physical ability and fortitude. The race covers anywhere between 400-500 miles featuring biking, trekking, paddling, rappelling and orienteering. The event will be particularly challenging coming out of the Jackson area heading east-southeast.

Casper will host an opening ceremony event on August 8th before the teams head to Jackson.
