Trevor T. Trujillo, K2 Radio

A circuit court judge has determined that a Casper man will face aggravated assault and burglary charges in district court following his preliminary hearing.

26-year-old Larry Burgess appeared in front of Judge Michael Huber on Thursday.

Prosecutors say Burgess, along with three masked attackers, brandished knives and assaulted a man at his home in the 1200 block of Center Street at around 5:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Prosecutors also claim the four suspects stole $1,800 worth of knives from the victim.

According to police testimony, the victim used to purchase methamphetamine from Burgess.

Burgess is being held on $100,000 bond. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
