The Casper Events Center launched a communication system -- "Txt Alert" -- for guests to alert management about matters that require immediate attention from its staff, according to a news release.

"The system promotes public safety by using the public as the eyes and ears of the Casper Events Center and encourages guests to say something if they see something that seems suspicious, so that staff can investigate and address issues in real time," the news release said.

Guests may use "Txt Alert" for non-emergency suspicious or security issues, spills, restroom and cleanliness, and have them resolved without have to seek out a staff member.

The Events Center will post signs to encourage guests to send texts, or scan the sign's QR code to open a text message with the phone number auto-filled.

The “Txt Alert” system will send a preset message to all incoming texts to let the guest know the message was received and staff has been notified.

Events Center management encourages the public to save (307) 201-2605 in their mobile devices under “Casper Events Center Txt Alert” to have it available during events.
