Hockey will be played in Central Wyoming for at least another year.

The Western States Hockey League (WSHL) has announced the Casper Bobcats will play in the league for the 2018-19 season.

Casper resident and business owner Jason Shierkolk is the acting managing member of the organization.

John Ambrefe, who coached the former Casper Coyotes before stepping down in 2017, will be on board as coach of the Bobcats.

During the 2017-18 season, the Coyotes went 16-35.
