CAMP GUERNSEY, Wyo. (AP) — People will be able to dispose of military munitions during an amnesty day at the Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center later this month.

The center says it will hold an amnesty day on Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members of the public will be able to dispose of military munitions during that time with no questions asked.

Ammunition that is safe to move may be dropped off at the camp. If anyone has military ammunition that they consider too dangerous to move, they may contact the camp.

The center warns that unexploded military ordnance can be dangerous and unsafe to store in a private homes.
