CODY, Wyo. (AP) —The Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody is showing up in classrooms around the world.

The center has partnered with Skype in the Classroom and created its first lesson plan, "Trappers, Traders, Trailblazers: Mountain Men of the Rocky Mountain West." School services coordinator Megan Smith says the program can reach classrooms in more than 50 countries. Smith and the center launched the program in April and hosted their first lesson with a school from Montana in May. Smith says the program is fun and allows kids to interact with her and ask questions. The plan is to add more Skype in the Classroom lessons when school starts again in the fall. The center doesn't charge for the classes.
