The Casper Bobcats junior hockey team earned a split in 2 road games in Steamboat, Colorado over the weekend to get to 13-23 in Western States League play. On Friday, the Bobcats posted a 5-4 win over the Wranglers with 5 different guys scoring in that game. Ryan Radke, Joe Rothman, Kevin Richter, Steven Olik and Denis Matic all found the back of the net in a balanced offensive effort. On Saturday, the Cats fell behind 3-0 after one period of play and lost 6-4 to Steamboat. Trevor Rohrig scored twice for Casper with Alex Roth and Daniel Silar getting their names in the scoring book. The Bobcats will be in Greeley on Saturday and Sunday to meet Northern Colorado.
