Cowboy Football Two Practices in to Spring Drills
The Wyoming Cowboys conducted their second spring practice on Wednesday morning with the emphasis continuing on fundamentals and increasing the pace of practice. Fifth-year Wyoming head coach Dave Christensen liked the improvement of his team from day one to day two of spring drills, but still emphasized after practice the need for his team to continue to improve each and every day of the Cowboys’ 15 spring practices.

Leonard Washington Garners All-District Honor
Wyoming senior forward Leonard Washington has been named to the All-District 17 Second Team, as announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). The award is voted on by member coaches of the NABC and this year a total of 242 student-athletes from 24 districts were honored. Washington earned the accolade for a second-straight season.

Wyoming Cowboys Post-Season Bound in CBI with Home Game Tuesday
The University of Wyoming men's basketball team has earned a second-straight postseason berth for just the 11th time in program history, as the Cowboys accepted an invitation on Sunday to play in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) presented by Buick. UW will face Lehigh on Tuesday at 7 p.m. MT in Wyoming's Arena-Auditorium.

Cowgirls Claw Past Nevada for 66-65 Road Victory
A clutch pass and a pair of free throws from Chaundra Sewell helped the Wyoming Cowgirls pull out a 66-65 down to the wire win at Nevada Wednesday night in Reno. It marked the sixth straight win for UW in conference play. Sewell led four Cowgirls in double figures, as she recorded her ninth double-double this season with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Cowboy Football Adds Three New Assistants and Shifts Duties
University of Wyoming head football coach Dave Christensen announced Wednesday new coaching and administrative responsibilities for members of his football staff, including the official hiring of three new assistant coaches. One of the key changes is that Christensen will call the plays on game day for the Pokes.
