The Natrona County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help, to determine how a wild land fire started just south of Casper.

Sergeant Aaron Shatto with the Sheriff's Office says the call came in just before 4:30pm on Thursday, July 16th, northeast of the intersection of Outer Drive and South McKinley Street.

There are two people of interest that law enforcement is looking for, because they are trying to determine if the fire was set intentionally or accidentally.

"Approximately 10 minutes prior to the call, two younger males were seen leaving the scene on a 4-wheeler razor-type ATV. They were last seen in the area of Falcon Crest and Fairdale Avenue in Casper, Wyoming."

Sergeant Shatto says fire crews from the Natrona County Fire District, along with crews from the city of Casper, and the BLM were called in to help put out the fire.
