POWELL, Wyo. (AP) — Three finalists are in the running for president of Northwest College in Powell.

The three candidates are: Stefani Hicswa, president of Miles Community College in Miles City, Mont.; Debra Thatcher, chief operating officer, provost and vice president of academic affairs at State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology; and Jon Connolly, vice president of academic affairs with the Northern Wyoming Community College District.

The Associated Press reports that each candidate will spend two days on campus this month during the interview process with the college board of trustees that will select the new president.

President Paul Prestwich is leaving the college this summer.
