From extremely small beginnings that helped a handful of kids, we’ve now reached tens of thousands – and we keep seeing more and more families that make giving to Stuff The Van part of their Christmas traditions.

The old saying, “time flies when you’re having fun” is pretty accurate when it comes to the Stuff The Van Toy Drive.

For the last 19 Christmases, we’ve been fortunate to have a front row seat to witness Casper step up and help out our own like no other community – making sure Casper kids not only have something under the tree at Christmas, but are helped long after, by funding the vital Weekend Food Bags through the Wyoming Food For Thought Project.

Hard to believe – but Stuff The Van #20 is upon us, presented by our friends at M.A.D. Towing & Transportation!  This year, the need is larger than ever as we celebrate 20 years of your generosity.  Monday, December 11th through Saturday, December 16th – join us live at Walmart East from 7 ‘til 7 each day as we collect new, unwrapped toys and clothes for kids of all ages, plus cash – over 2200 children total on this year’s Christmas list so far, with more expected.  We’ll be helping Casper kids served by the Boys & Girls Club, Child Development Center, the Casper Housing Authority, and Stuff The Van’s organizational partners at the Wyoming Food For Thought Project.  Watch this space and listen daily for updates on specific needs across the Townsquare Media family of stations – 104.7 KISS-FM, K2 Radio, My Country 95.5, Rock 96.7, 107.9 The River, and AM 1400, ESPN Radio.

When: December 11th - December 16th | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Where: Walmart East | 4400 E 2nd St, Casper, WY 82609
How To Help: Stop by and make a donation of new, unwrapped toys and clothes for kids of all ages. Cash is accepted on site and monetary  donations are accepted online.

“These stations have been fortunate to be involved in a lot of great causes over the years – but admittedly, Stuff The Van’s always been my favorite,” says Donovan Short, Townsquare Media’s annual Stuff The Van host.  “From extremely small beginnings that helped a handful of kids, we’ve now reached tens of thousands – and we keep seeing more and more families that make giving to Stuff The Van part of their Christmas traditions.  We’ve actually been at this long enough now that I’m starting to meet ‘kids’ from past Stuff The Vans that aren’t kids anymore - now bringing their own children by to help shop and teach those great lessons about paying it forward. Doesn’t get any better than that.”

“The generosity Casper shows to Stuff The Van was instrumental in the beginning and success of Food For Thought," says Wyoming Food For Thought Project's Jamie Purcell.  "From our first year serving 180 kids, to today, when we’re reaching over 650 with the Weekend Food Bags that are vital to get local kids access to food when they’re away from school cafeterias, which can often be their primary food source. Wyoming Food for Thought Project believes in a community where everyone - no matter what - has access to good and healthy food.”

You can stay warm and donate anytime online here – or see us in person out front of Walmart East from December 11-16.  Thanks in advance, for all the years of giving – here’s to making the 20th Anniversary of Stuff The Van the biggest year yet.
