Applicants were selected and the first meeting takes place next Monday of a Natrona County Public Library task force. The Citizen-led committee is tasked with determining whether a new library for the county is the way to go.

"This is a group of about 30 citizens that the trustees have brought together to consider whether the trustees and the commissioners should go forward with a ballot measure in November for a new library."

Library Director, Bill Nelson says, first off the question is whether a new library is needed and desired.

The first meeting happens Monday, February 27th, in the library's Crawford Room, 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

The public is welcome to come and observe. Nelson says the board will meet bimonthly and make a recommendation in early June.
