The funding may be used to provide no-cost services for Wyoming residents experiencing behavioral health challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the new orders, indoor and outdoor gatherings will be limited to 25 people or fewer without restrictions.

The announcement came minutes before Gordon is scheduled to address reporters at 4 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Gordon said that health professionals have advised him that Wyoming could see as much as 3,000 new virus cases in the near future.

Governor's officials say all attendees took precautions including wearing masks for the length of the meeting.

Harrist said the lack of outbreaks in Wyoming's school is proof that wearing face masks works.

Wyoming has used CARES Act money to purchase 75,000 at-home COVID-19 tests for its residents, Gov. Mark Gordon announced Wednesday.
